The Kalle outdoor sauna comprises three distinct spaces: a changing room, a shower and a bright five m² sauna cabin conducive to rest! Its sizeable tempered glass window measuring 230 x 148 cm will give you a feeling of space, while its Aspen wooden benches will allow you to enjoy your sauna session in the most superb comfort fully. A glass door separates each room, and the sauna has a total interior surface area of 4.9 m².
This sauna is wholly insulated, as evidenced by its 18 cm thick walls combining wood and mineral wool. It will, therefore, retain the heat produced by your stove (not included), and its walls will be perfectly windproof. The sauna roof also benefits from a 10 cm layer of mineral wool and has a shingle cover. Its inclination will ensure the proper flow of rainwater in the event of a downpour, thus avoiding any risk of infiltration at the roof level.

Made from spruce, this outdoor sauna cabin is designed from certified wood, which, therefore, comes from sustainably managed forestry operations with respect for the environment. The wood used is raw; you must protect it against insects, fungi, and humidity by using an insecticide/fungicide treatment and varnishing it. You can also paint the wood if desired to facilitate the integration of the cabin into your exterior. This wooden sauna is delivered as a kit to be assembled using the detailed instructions. It must be installed on hard and level ground, such as a concrete slab. An OSB floor is also included and benefits from an expanded polystyrene (EPS) layer as insulation. Its beams are treated by impregnation to resist insects and rising humidity that emanates from the ground, which could degrade the condition of the wood.
During Thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius without oxygen. This dramatically reduces the ability of the wood to absorb water, and wood-degrading fungi and bacteria lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except feet, window and door frames, front boards and outdoor terrace boards) are made from Nordic Thermowood.
